St Paul’s Church was built in 1844 and is still in use.
The war memorial, on the south side of the church, is in the form of a stone cross with the names of the fallen engraved on the base, and was unveiled on Saturday 18 June, 1921. (Macclesfield Times, 24 June 1921)
