WW1 Choices

Exhibition: “War and Conscience: Choices Then and Now”
Tuesday 16th February – Saturday 27th February, upstairs in the Gallery during normal Library opening hours.

An exhibition exploring choices in WW1 and today, focussing on Macclesfield men and women whose conscience would not allow them to take up arms or serve in the military.

This fascinating exhibition is a stark reminder of the impact of World War One; the story being told through posters, photographs, original testimonies, first-hand accounts and a display of poetry written by Macclesfield pupils from two local High Schools.
