8th Nov 2014: WW1 Memorial Tree Planting in Victoria Park

This is a special event run by RSPB Wildlife Explorers, planting trees as a WW1 memorial to commemorate the local history of Macclesfield whilst also improving the area for nature.

Meet at the bandstand at Victoria Park, Macclesfield shortly before 10am.
Planting will take place from 10am – 12 noon, working alongside the ‘Friends of Victoria Park’.

Please wear suitable waterproof work clothes and boots.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
