The exhibition will not only commemorate the names of the men on the War Memorial but will also include details of those who served and returned home, some of whom were badly wounded, others whose minds were scarred forever.

Visitors to the exhibition can also learn about the social, economic and environmental impact that the village experienced during those traumatic years.

A wealth of information, photos and artefacts will be on display and researchers will be available to answer questions.
