Son of Frederick Holt; husband of Ada Holt, of 20 Clowes St., Macclesfield, Cheshire.

COMMEMORATION

Private Arthur Holt has no known grave and is commemorated on panel ref. Bay 3 of the Arras Memorial, France. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission holds casualty details for Private Arthur Holt, and he is listed on the Imperial War Museum’s Lives of the First World War website.

In Macclesfield, Private Arthur Holt is commemorated on the Park Green, Town HallSt Michael’s ChurchSt Johns Church and Macclesfield Sunday School war memorials.
